Home School Agreement

Together we will:

Tackle any special needs that the children may have.

Encourage the children to keep their part of the agreement.

Support the children's learning and help them to achieve their best.

 

The school will:

Encourage children to do their best at all times.

Encourage the children to take care of their surroundings and others around them.

Inform parents of the children's progress at regular meetings.

Inform parents about what the teachers aim to teach the children each term.

Provide a safe and caring environment.

Follow the aims, ethos and policies outlined in the school handbook/brochure.

The family will:

Make sure their child arrives at , and is collected from, school on time.

Make sure their child attends regularly and if the child is absent, contact the school as soon as possible and provide a note of explanation if the child is absent.

Discuss their child's progress with the school at least twice a year through attending an open evening or by a special meeting.

Whenever possible, attend school events such as Good Work - Sharing Assemblies, Sports Days and any other event in which their child is involved.

Support the homework policy of the school.

Make sure their child has the appropriate equipment eg PE kit.

Take care of the equipment and the building.

Walk inside the building.

Talk quietly.

Be friendly and kind to others.

Be as helpful as I can.

Try my best.

Do my homework.
